The most gorgeous counter-tenor evah!
Truly beautiful, in all definitions of that word.
next great opera singer ?
I suspect he'll receive a lot of advice from many corners, and that lots of people will try to bring influence to bear on his musical career/direction. That's to be expected, of course, given that he's earned a place in the the public spotlight. He'll benefit from professional training, but I sure do hope they don't ruin his natural talents in the process...and more so, that he doesn't allow anyone to alter his beautiful inner essence.
Is there a colony of Mainers out your way ?
Don't know. Why do you ask? I'd love to meet up with them, if they're here! :)
I thought I was replying to Sartorias comment evah. Sounds like the Maine dialect. :+)
Hee, sorry for interjecting myself. I hope she answers you. :)
wow -- I shared this on FB and LJ
What a unique individual
and that voice! wow.
Wow is right! I'm awestruck by his innate talents, and inspired by his indominable spirit.
So touching. And such a gorgeous piece of music. I have Joshua Bell's recording of this and it's one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing, Melodye. xoxo
Thanks for the recommendation, Lorraine! I'm going to see if I can find JB's version on the internets.
For me anyway, this clip demonstrates so well an artist's truth: that heart, not perfection, is at the core of beauty.
That's courage -- I love how he dares to be different :)
I love that, too! He has an inner strength, it's clear. I hope he stays centered in the midst of all the pushme-pullyou he'll experience, now that he's entered the competition.
His godlight burns very bright.
